Ever wonder the day to day of a Japanese monk. Welcome to the Buddhist Monk experience where you get to perform daily activities done by a monk at a Japanese Buddhist temple. Participants will get a deeper look into Buddhism not from the outside, but by immersing themselves right into it.
Learn the meaning behind Buddhist traditions, and its connection to the Japanese culture.
Participants will perform a Buddhist prayer, meditation, a cleaning task , they will get a detailed explanation on the background of the specific temple , eat a traditional monk meal , and receive a temple signature to signify your completion of your training.
